First post!

Welcome to the new Skinner family blog. Here you will be able to find news and updates on our family!

And now for some introductions. Ethan is currently a geologist for an oil company in Houston, and I am a stay at home mom and a freelance writer. Our two kids are named Noah and Caroline. Noah is three and a half and a part time preschool student and full time funny guy and starter of mischief. Caroline is 21 months old and a total spitfire. She's always on the go, trying to act older than she is, and generally cracking us up. Plus, she has the craziest, curliest hair ever. We live in a suburb of Houston and have been in Texas since July 2004.

In our previous lives, Ethan and I lived in New Jersey when we were both Master's degree students at Rutgers. We then moved to Columbus, Ohio in 2000 where Ethan got a Ph.D. at Ohio State in 2004, and where I worked as both a science textbook editor and a college textbook sales representative for two major publishing companies. We were married in June 2001 in Columbus.

So, welcome. We hope you enjoy it here!
